Frequently asked questions

Find answers to some of the most asked questions we receive from couples.

01
What’s the difference between hiring our team versus an individual videographer?

The power of a team makes all the difference. And the power of our team, in addition to the excellent communication and project management skills & resources we provide, helps give you a seamless, stress-free, and memorable experience. Most individual videographers don't have the pooled resources, team members, communication, or management skills required to keep up with managing multiple couples, their wedding details, and communicating clearly along the process. Along with being a team of curated creatives, we are also a bit nerdy, so we use technology to automate steps of the experience so that nothing gets missed and you feel like you're always in the know about what's required of you and what will be coming up.

02
Is our team able to travel?

Absolutely! We welcome any couple from anywhere in the world to book our team for their wedding day - we are able to travel worldwide. Locally, we are based out of Atlantic County, New Jersey, which makes us less than 1 hour from Philadelphia, 2.5 hours from New York City, and 3.5 hours from Washington, D.C.

With any travel (local, domestic, or international) travel fees apply. Travel fees include, but are not limited to, hourly rate for travel time, gas & tolls, flights, hotel rooms, rental cars, food stipend, etc.

03
How is your wedding date secured?

After you inquire and we confirm our team's availability and the package you'd like to move forward with, we will send over a contract for you to digitally sign and a one-third retainer/deposit invoice. Once signed & paid, the date is yours and secured!

04
How many videos will you receive?

All of our packages come with a highlight video (length pending on package selected) and a 30 second to 1-minute social media shareable teaser (usually delivered within 2 weeks after your wedding date). Our 2 higher tiered packages include longer highlight videos, as well as raw footage, which are full-length, unedited clips of your ceremony, intros/dances, and speeches/toasts.

05
What is a highlight video & how long are they?

Our highlight videos are primarily 5-8 minute, music-driven visual summaries of the best parts of your day. Our goal is for you to be able to remember your wedding day forever. That means capturing the beauty, essence, and magic of each major part of the day and pairing it with music that will emotionally stir you to relive each and every moment. Our unique Chase & Fellow style utilizes a lot of slow motion to dramatize the day and make it feel like a movie. Sometimes, if it fits your vibe, we'll splice together real-time clips to add energy in key parts throughout the video. Then, we bring it all together with our balanced, natural color tones and crisp contrast.

06
What is "raw footage?"

Raw footage are long, unedited clips of the ceremony, intros/dances, and speeches/toasts that let you experience the full moment just like it happened. Our team members work together to capture the highest quality audio & video that we can achieve for these moments.

07
What about drone footage?

We include drone footage in all of our packages for no extra charge! As long as we can legally fly (without complications from the FAA), we will launch the drone and capture the magic.

09
How does payment work?

We make our payment super straightforward and simple. To secure your date with us, you will need to sign a contract and pay a one-third retainer/deposit. This is a non-refundable amount that acts as insurance for us both. Around one month from the wedding, you will receive an email including the invoice for your remaining balance. Typically, we require this to be paid by or before the wedding date. We love when you pay with card, but if you need, you can also send us a check.

10
When do you receive your videos?

There are many layers and steps in the process to ensure your videos are thoughtful, creative, well-paced, and beautiful. Our typical turnaround time ranges anywhere from 6-12 weeks (depending on how busy the season is). This is where your teasers come in handy. We generally send you a 30-second to 1-minute shareable teaser within 2 weeks after your wedding so you can share a little glimpse of your special day with others as you (and they) anticipate the full video.

11
What happens if one of our team members gets sick?

Although this has never happened to us yet *knock on wood*, since you're hiring an entire team, there is a lot of flexibility in case of accidents, sickness, or emergencies as it relates to the team member who was dedicated to your wedding date. In those rare circumstances, we'll adapt and adjust and one of our other team members will save the day. We all work extremely well together, so regardless of who jumps in at the last second, your day will be captured beautifully!

12
How are the videos delivered?

We love making things digital, but we also recognize it's helpful to have a physical copy of your videos too. When we initially send your videos to you (via email), they will be accessible and downloadable through a Dropbox link or another online platform. We always recommend that you download them from our folder and back them up on your own cloud storage. We also will send you a flash drive containing those same deliverables so that you have a hard copy, just in case!

13
Is your team insured?

Yes, our team is insured! Typically, all of our shooters are insured with at least, at the bare minimum, a $1,000,000 general liability coverage. Our company, and some team members, even add more coverage to their policies to play it even more safe. If your venue or planner needs our Certificate of Insurance (COI) we usually automatically send it over via email as we near the wedding, but if you need it sooner just let us know and we'll be happy to send it over!
